Womens Group

This group provides an opportunity for women with an inherited bleeding disorder to discuss their experiences. Women are encouraged to access assistance through their Haemophilia Treatment Centre and ensure that they are aware of their own factor levels, that they have a treatment plan in place, and that they are recognizing their own symptoms. Education is also provided to ensure that other women in their families are identified as carrying the haemophilia gene and seek assistance prior to starting a family.

The women’s group meets for breakfast approximately every twelve weeks at various locations around Perth.
